CyberVision
Surveillance Suite is a collection of tools for the
surveillance and management of resources and personnel within
the city. It is a comprehensive coverage plan which with
result in the reduction of violence and crime within the city
and form the first line of defense in homeland security. The
objective of this system is to provide a super computing
network on a grid computational model to provide a decision
support system and form a vital tool in the decision making
process. The system will provide solutions such as cyber
surveillance, cyber witness, cyber patrols initially and will
later provide super computing advanced features such as
criminal identification and notification system, city
archives, and satellite mapping of nodes and mobile units with
Enterprise Messaging.
CyberVision
Surveillance System consists of a CRAY Super computer
connected in grid computational model to 625 control units and
has an active array of 10000 surveillance cams. The system
will have a total capacity of 150 – 170 Tera Bytes of space,
and will have a computational power of 4.5 Tera Flops to 5.7
Tera Flops per second. The system will be built using CORBA
technology to provide the highest level of speed and security
and will use Java for interoperability and ease of use. Each
control unit can be placed in 10 – 20 km radius of each other
and will provide a highly secure Wifi network within the city
limits. The system will support the following features:
-
Cyber
Surveillance
-
Cyber
Patrolling
-
Cyber
Witness
-
Criminal
Identification and Notification System
-
Automated
Number Plate Recognition System (ANPR)
-
Enterprise Messaging
-
Cyber
City Archive
-
Satellite
Mapping
Each of
these features together will enhance the safety and security
of each city in which the system is implemented. These highly
secure independent networks can be connected together to
provide a country wide super computing network to enhance
homeland safety and security. |
